I led the design and curation of the core historical exhibit at the Heart Mountain Interpretive Center in Park County, Wyoming, which stands between the towns of Cody and Powell. This is the site of the Heart Mountain Relocation Center, where the U.S. government confined some 10,000 people of Japanese ancestry between 1942 and 1945.

The museum opened in August of 2011. In 2012, the exhibit won two awards: the Interior Exhibit Award from the National Association of Interpretation and the Excellence in Exhibition Award for Eloquent Presentation of Topic from the American Alliance of Museums.
